NEW Immunization Requirements

New immunization requirements indicate that effective July 1, 2018 ALL students K-12 must show proof of having received two doses of Hepatitis A vaccine to attend school.  Students age 16 and older must show proof of having received two doeses of Meningococcal ACWY vaccine (MenACWY).  Please review the attached letter.

New Requirements for School!

New Immunization Certificates Needed NOW or BEFORE the First Day of School 2018/19

Effective July 1, 2018 ALL students in kindergarten through twelfth grade must show proof of having received two doses of Hepatitis A vaccine to attend school. Some students may have already receive 2 doses and may just need an updated certificate (Hep A was generally not listed on OLD certificates).  If your child has not received any doses of Hep A, keep in mind there is a 6 month waiting period between doses so you need to get the series started ASAP. Please call your child's health care provider and start looking into this now.

Also, if you have a child age 16 yrs or older in SCPS a 2nd dose of Meningococcal is required as well as the Hep A doses.
