Ms. Brandie Prosch is our resource teacher for Taylorsville Elementary and Spencer County High School. Mrs. Elizabeth Hinton is our resource teacher for Spencer County Elementary and Middle Schools. Elementary Gifted and Talented Students attend “The Best Christmas
Pageant Ever” at Stage One.
Recently our 7th grade gifted and talented students enjoyed a visit to Frazier History Museum. Tale's of Poe was the featured exhibit where the students were treated to reenactment's of some of Edgar Allan Poe's most famous works including The Raven, Ulalume, The Bells and Manuscript Found in a Bottle; they also viewed Poe related items and artwork by high school students from Jefferson County.

Kentucky Association for Gifted Education - (KAGE), officially organized in 1979, is a non-profit volunteer group of parents, teachers, administrators, other educators, and all citizens interested in promoting appropriate educational opportunities for gifted and talented youth in Kentucky.
National Association for Gifted Children - NAGC's mission is to support those who enhance the growth and development of gifted and talented children through education, advocacy, community building, and research.
Referral Form for Gifted and Talented Services - Teachers may use this form to refer a student for a specific area of gifted ability for identification purposes.
