BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION!
Congratulations!!

Greetings to the students, parents, staff and community members that have supported the efforts in making Spencer County Schools excellent.  It is with great pride and honor that I have the privilege to once again publicly congratulate you all on another DISTINGUISHED performance rating for the district!  Spencer County Schools has once again surpassed academic expectations with not only consecutive distinguished performance ratings for the district, but also a “school of distinction” honor bestowed upon Taylors Elementary School for the level of progress achieved during the spring cycle of assessments.  Our performance has once again elevated Spencer County Schools above all surrounding districts, second only to Oldham County in comparison to every other K-12 district within the OECD Region.  A sincere ‘thank you’ for the countless hours and abundant effort by our teachers, students, staff, volunteers, Board of Education, and administrators in making Spencer County Schools a truly special place to work and learn as we continue “Going the Distance for ALL Students!”
