Welcome Letter

My name is Mrs. Noel, and I am so thrilled to be your teacher this year! We are going to do so many FUN things, and of course, we will learn a lot. I hope you have a fabulous summer; I can’t wait to hear all about it!

I will be so excited to meet you at Open House on Thursday, August 1st at 5:30. Your parents can bring your school supplies that night, or you can bring them the first day of school, August 7th.

Kindergarten is a special time in your life and you will learn so much! I am sure you have heard all about how you will learn your ABC’s, how to read, and do math problems. But I want you to know something – those aren’t the most important things you will learn in Kindergarten. While we will work hard on reading and math, the most important things we will focus on are kindness, sharing, compassion, independence, honesty, courage, teamwork , creativity, and more. Yes, my dear kindergartener, you will learn to read and so much more this year, and I will be there cheering you on!

Here’s to a wonderful year filled with learning and laughter,

Mrs. Noel smiley
