The new school year is right around the corner, and I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to our class. I am very excited about this upcoming year and hope that you are too!
My name is Ms. Donna Lawson and I am going to be your teacher in Kindergarten! Ms. Mary Ruth Ethington is going to be your Instructional Assistant, and she is excited as well to help you this year! You are going to learn sooo many things!
On Thursday, August 3 from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m., we will have a special afternoon just for YOU and YOUR PARENTS to join us at school. Our classroom is located in the North Hallway, Red Pod. You will get to see your classroom and you can bring your school supplies too. (The supply list is attached.)
If your parents have any questions, tell them to call the school (477-6950). We look forward to seeing you on August 3! The first day of school is Wednesday, August 9.
I can’t wait to meet you! We are going to have a great kindergarten year!
See you soon!
