Good afternoon, Bear Family!

Report Cards

Report cards were distributed to your student this week, so ask to see if and check on their progress. While teachers have given a huge effort and reduced failures significantly, there are still more than in normal instructional settings. We are planning on using Wednesday's in the coming weeks to help with this situation going forward. Watch for news about Wednesday interventions. As always, Bears in Overtime is available after school - check their announcement below.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

·         Parents: Per state law, if your student tests positive for COVID, you will need to let the school nurse know within 24 hours. Also, if your student is a known close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID, please let the school know so your child will not be marked absent and quarantine dates can be arranged. The nurse may be contacted via the school number during office hours or by email

A note - just use the due dates and progress tracker in Edgenuity is a general guide.  As long your student is staying ahead of the progress tracker in each course, they should be on track to finish by the end of the year or semester (based on the course).   They do not have to follow the calendar exactly.
