Bear Care Information:

Bear Care is a licensed childcare program offering enrichment for students that provide developmentally appropriate education based on the same instructional components studied in school.  We offer homework help, reading, writing, math, music, art, and technology activities.  We have highly-skilled staff and low student-teacher ratios.

Operational Schedule:

Bear Care is open year-round providing childcare for the students of Spencer County Elementary, Taylorsville Elementary, and the Preschool.  We operate before and after school for full-day Preschool through Grade 5 and are open on all breaks, school closings, along with most snow days from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm excluding holidays.  There is also a wrap-around childcare program for half-day Preschool students.
