Attention 3rd - 12th Grades needing summer access to your school accounts!! As part of a state-wide initiative, we will begin using Rapid Identity Automation to log into our district accounts. Each user (staff/student) will be required to use Multi-Factor Authentication. Pictograph Authentication provides a secure and user-friendly option to traditional multi-factor authentication methods for students. Along with username and password, students will create a second password by selecting images (pictographs). Each 3rd - 12th grade student will need to remember 3 pictographs to log into their district accounts. Please do not share your password or pictographs! You are responsible for your account at all times!

The Spencer County Board of Education is RESCHEDULING it's Work Session Scheduled for June 9, 2026.
The meeting will now be conducted on MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM. As a result of rescheduling the meeting, this new date will be a SPECIAL CALLED Meeting.

Spencer County Schools wishes to inform the public of an important matter regarding the Spencer County Board of Education District 3 seat (Elk Creek District).
Following the November 2024 election, Mr. Aaron Erhardt was elected to serve on the Spencer County Board of Education and officially began his term in January 2025. Mr. Erhardt subsequently resigned from the position in February 2025.
In accordance with Kentucky law, Mr. Jason Phelps was appointed by the Board to fulfill the vacant District 3 seat and was officially sworn in on February 25, 2025.
As a result, the District 3 Board of Education seat will appear on the upcoming ballot for the opportunity to fulfill Mr. Earhartโs original term through December of 2028. Any eligible individual wishing to file as a candidate for the District 3 (Elk Creek) seat must complete and file the required paperwork with the Spencer County Clerkโs Office no later than Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
