At SCES, our mission continues to be simple, yet powerful: Love. Learn. Lead. Every decision we make is centered on creating a school where students feel loved, are challenged to learn at high levels, and are empowered to become leaders in their classrooms, our school, and our community.

This year's theme, "Dive Into Learning," represents the excitement and curiosity we hope every child brings through our doors each day. We want our students to jump into new experiences, embrace challenges, and discover the joy of learning. Throughout the year, you'll see this theme woven into classrooms, school events, and celebrations as we encourage every Cub to dive into opportunities that help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are especially excited about the many improvements awaiting our students this year. New additions include a student performance area, a new gymnasium, and a new music room, creating even more opportunities for students to learn, perform, and grow. In addition, several areas throughout the building have been renovated, and every classroom has been enhanced with updated lighting and HVAC systems. These improvements provide a brighter, safer, and more comfortable learning environment where our students can thrive.

While our facilities continue to improve, our commitment to academic excellence remains stronger than ever. Spencer County Elementary will continue to maintain high expectations for all students while providing the support they need to succeed. Our dedicated staff is committed to engaging students in meaningful learning experiences that prepare them for future success.

Equally important is the development of the whole child. Through our continued implementation of Character Strong, we intentionally teach character, responsibility, kindness, perseverance, and leadership skills that help students become not only successful learners but also compassionate, responsible citizens.
