Our High School Culinary Arts seniors teamed up with their kindergarten buddies for a truly sweet learning experience โ baking and decorating sugar cookies together! ๐ฉโ๐ณ๐จโ๐ณ๐
This wasnโt just about cookies โ it was about leadership, learning, and laughter! ๐ Seniors stepped up as mentors, guiding their little chefs through two fun-filled days of hands-on learning. From washing hands and measuring ingredients ๐งผ๐ to rolling dough and making icing ๐จ๐ฌ, everyone practiced real-world skills while mixing in tons of fun!

Today our students had the exciting opportunity to hear from former SCES Cub and current WDRB Producer, Kylie Pollett!
Kylie shared what itโs like to work behind the scenes at WDRB and offered valuable tips to help our Bearly Newsย team continue to grow as effective communicatorsย and active collaborators.
Students were thrilled to share their own experiences producing our school newscast and loved hearing how the skills theyโre learning now connect to real-world careers in media and storytelling.

Our Cubs showed their patriotic pride during the annual Veterans Parade! ๐จ๐ Some students held handmade signs, others cheered โthank you!โ, and many waved flags proudly as our communityโs veterans passed by. ๐โจ

Last week our 5th Grade GT Cubs hit the trails at Bernheim Forest for their Hike to the Giants adventure! ๐ป๐ฅพ They explored the incredible giant sculptures and discovered how nature, art, and storytelling connect in fun and meaningful ways. ๐จ๐ฟ๐
