Fall Picture Day Tuesday, October 8th *this date has changed*

We are excited to introduce 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐒, our new communication system, along with a walkthrough of our brand-new 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐩𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞. If you have questions about how our district will communicate going forward, want to learn more about our new systems, or need assistance getting set up, this is the perfect opportunity to get all the information you need! 🎨Look for more information to come home about Original Works! 🎨Students will be working on different projects this week. 🎨Families will be able to order different items with their child's artwork on it.

Students in Mrs. Abell's and Mrs. Mooney’s room worked on a special “Dot Day” project today after learning about early civilizations dot art. International Dot Day is September 15th and celebrates creativity, courage, and collaboration!

🎉 **ROUND ONE ORDERS DELIVERED!** 🎉 Friday, PTO Volunteers worked hard to fulfill most sock orders and spirit wear orders. Check your kids backpacks. 🎒 🧦 SOCKS: We were able to fulfill about 90% of orders. We did run out of some sizes and colors but will be reordering them next week. As soon as they arrive, we will get them sent home ASAP! 👚 SHIRTS: We sent home spirit wear that was ordered by August 28th EXCEPT the holiday spirit shirt. Those shirts will be fulfilled after October 30th. 🩵There was a printing error on the Pastel Bubble shirt. These were sent home but are the wrong color. These shirts WILL BE REPLACED! Custom pastel colors can be difficult to match, but our local reps are committed to getting it right! Please be patient as they work to complete these. 🗓 **Future Order Deadlines:** - October 30th (LAST CHANCE TO GET THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT SHIRT!) 🚚 **Delivery:** Orders will be delivered roughly 2 weeks after the deadlines and will be sent home with your child. Cub Connection 9-13-24

Mrs. Weekley’s class enjoyed spending time sharing crafts with reasons they love their Grandparents, hearing a story and coloring Grandparents’ Day quilt pieces.  We love our Grandparents!

5th graders in Mrs. Sanford's class got the opportunity to interview their grandparents during Grandparents' Day.

Mrs. Johnson’s  2nd graders loved welcoming their grandparents in today . The class read a book called The Patchwork Quilt about a little girl who quilts  with her grandmother. Mrs . Johnson shared some of her family quilts with the class and students made a quilt piece of their favorite memories with their grandparents & played bingo .  The class can’t wait to see the finished product of their quilt put together.

Grandparent’s Day in Mrs. Dunning’s room! We loved having all of our special people visit us today!

Mrs.Mac's class had a wonderful Grandparent's Day! They sang a special song, gave their guests a craft, and enjoyed lunch! The book fair was enjoyed by everyone!

Mrs. Browning's class had a special day with their grandparents. The students did a performance, gave their grandparents a gift, and interviewed them.
