Our 3rd graders had a tee-rific time on their field trip to Topgolf today! ⛳ This experience was more than just fun—it was a chance to bring learning to life! Students explored real-world connections to math by keeping score and calculating distances, practiced focus and coordination through each swing, and strengthened teamwork and communication skills while encouraging their classmates. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this day such a success. Way to go, 3rd grade! 💙🧡

This week Mrs Hutt’s 4th grade classes wrapped up their Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief novel study with a standards based escape room. They loved putting their codes in the lock to see if they mastered the task!

Mrs. Brooks’s Block 1 has been up and moving with a “Write the Room” activity to wrap up Esperanza Rising! Students traveled around the classroom, responding to key moments, themes, and character developments from the novel. It was great to see them collaborating, thinking critically, and making connections as they reflected on Esperanza’s journey. This was a fun and engaging way to review while getting everyone out of their seats and involved!

Today Mrs. Browning's class wrapped up their angles unit with a STEM activity, they constructed 3D models of houses out of toothpicks and marshmallows. Each house had to include at least one of each of these angles: right, straight , obtuse, and acute angles.

Mrs. Howie's class read the One and Only Ivan. Today they wrote letters to characters, solved word problems, created a billboard, and compared the movie with the book! 😊
