What an amazing second day of Kinder Camp! Our newest Cubs had another day full of learning, laughter, creativity, and fun. From making new friends to exploring exciting activities, these little learners have already shown us just how brave, curious, and kind they are. A huge thank-you to our incredible staff members and volunteers for helping make these two days so special. Your dedication and love for our students truly make SCES the best place to learn and grow. 🏫🌊 We're Diving into Learning at SCES! Our teachers have been working hard to get classrooms ready for another amazing year, and our incredible custodial team has been working just as hard to get the building ready for Open House next Monday and Tuesday. We can't wait to welcome all of our Cubs back! 💙🐻 We know everyone is excited to find out their child's teacher. As soon as class assignments are available in Infinite Campus, we'll share an announcement and a quick graphic showing families how to access them. 🐻💙 What a wonderful first day of SCES Kinder Camp! 💙🐻 Today was filled with smiles, new friendships, exciting activities, and lots of learning. Our newest Cubs jumped right in as they rotated through stations, explored their new routines, and began getting ready for an amazing school year ahead. A huge thank-you goes to the Spencer County Extension Office for graciously allowing us to use their facility. We are so grateful for their support and partnership with our school community! 🌊🐻 Kinder Camp Starts Tomorrow! 🐻🌊 We are so excited to welcome our newest SCES Cubs to Kinder Camp beginning tomorrow! 💙 📍 Reminder: Kinder Camp will be held at the Spencer County Extension Office on Monday and Tuesday. We can't wait to meet our future Cubs and kick off an amazing adventure together! 🐠🐢🪼 🌊⚓ Dive Into Learning ⚓🌊 We're also excited to welcome our incredible staff back tomorrow as they begin preparing classrooms for another fantastic school year! ❤️ They'll be getting everything ready for Open House on August 10th and 11th and making SCES a great place to learn, grow, and belong. 📚🍎 Before we know it, we'll all be back together at Spencer County Elementary on Thursday, August 13th for the first day of school!

Incoming Kindergarten Parents

Spencer County Schools Transportation is excited to announce that bus route information for the 2026–2027 school year is now available.

On Monday, parents and guardians should have received an email from BusRight, our new transportation communication system. BusRight will provide your student's exact bus stop location and estimated pickup/drop-off times, along with real-time notifications throughout the school year.

Important Reminder: July 15 was the deadline to complete Online Registration for transportation services. Transportation routes have now been finalized based on the information received by that deadline. If your family needs to make a transportation change from this point forward, please contact the Spencer County Schools Transportation Department as soon as possible so we can review and process your request.
