The following design was developed from feedback given to architects. This split-level, or hybrid design captures the efficiency of a two-story design with the convenience of a one-story building relating to common areas such as the gym, cafeteria, Art, Music, Media, and office spaces on the first floor, along with classrooms for early childhood isolated in their own unique pod, with classroom configurations on the perpendicular first floor wing as well as classrooms above the perpendicular wing on the 2nd floor. As we move to select a general building design in hopes of breaking ground later this summer, the Board of Education would like your immediate feedback. The stakeholder committee of TES Faculty and Staff that was prepared at the beginning of the year for the purpose of interior design will be activated to ensure each group has a voice in the process. Once the building format is selected for initial groundwork to begin at the site, schematics and blueprints will be the next consideration where your feedback of the interior will be absolutely necessary to promote a transparent process and provide a building suitable for the 21st Century learner; both teacher and student.
